Richmond Sports Backers Executive Director Jon Lugbill presented an update about the impact of sports tourism to the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors. In the fiscal year that ended in June, the total economic impact was over $25.3 million. The total was up $3.5 million from $21.8 million in the previous year.
