$2 Billion Data Center Project Celebrates Construction Milestones in Meadowville Technology Park
At a Tuesday, May 21st event, James Holland, Chairman of the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors, announced that Chirisa Technology Parks has reached new project milestones for two new data centers in Meadowville Technology Park that will serve large scale customers in the GPU-accelerated cloud.
Recent investments by data center operators are not only bringing promising capital investment and tax revenue to Chesterfield but also significant employment opportunities.
During the construction of this phase of the Chirisa project, over 1,000 people are expected to be employed on-site, contributing to the local economy. Chirisa and its partners will invest over $2 billion in these data center projects, further boosting the region’s economic growth.
